The LA Idiot blog is about my adventures as a single guy in Los Angeles who is trying to start a company. Being single in Los Angeles can be difficult. You’re constantly juggling work, friends, mixing up your social life, and trying to find a decent date. I’m hoping this blog can be therapeutic for me (God knows a real shrink in LA is damn expensive) and enjoyable for you.
My friends find my stories about the everyday adventures I encounter to be humorous and fascinating. They also find my dating stories to be hilarious, appalling, or inexplicable. Maybe it’s because I’m attracted to the wrong girls or reject those that are good for me? Is it because I’m susceptible to an occasional cougar or a naive college undergrad? I’m all over the map with women and it’s safer to live through my dating experiences than to experience them yourself.
I am a first time entrepreneur, so while I try to navigate the rocky waters of LA dating, I’m also trying to make it professionally, just like everyone else in LA. Read about my inner thoughts on my company and my progress. I’m not looking to work for myself but to create a full fledged company that can run perfectly in my absence. I don’t know which will be more difficult, finding an acceptable date or building a sustainable company. Either way, it will be one hell of a ride you won’t want to miss.
Dating and entrepreneurship will bring highs and lows that will result in a gamut of emotions, all of which I lay out here for you. I live, I laugh, I love and wear it all on my sleeve. LA Idiot will serve up a great big slab of romantic confusion, a splash of adventure, a dash of stupidity, a pinch of determination, all with a humorous aftertaste.
